sources DVDs, Birthday Special Sources.

Today, I'm reviewing the sixth DVD in his Birthday
Special Sources set of seven.
DVD 6 talks about a 'cross country' supplier, based in
the US.
The 'cross country' concept is quite simple. Find a
product that's a proven seller from a foreign eBay
site that's not available or is in short supply on
eBay UK.
I actually did this myself over the Christmas 2007/
2008 period when Nintendo Wii games consoles were
sold out in the UK and Ireland.
I contacted about a dozen suppliers on eBay
Germany and got back several wholesale quotes.
As the product was in short supply at home, the
prices were going through the roof and I made a nice
bonus that helped pay my bills in the new year.
You should be careful when doing this, though, and
make sure that you're happy that the supplier is legit.
The supplier that I purchased from was a registered
business in Germany, with VAT number, phone, fax,
website, etc. They also had a very high feedback
rating on eBay, so I was quite happy to make a
substantial order from them.
Do not make a large order from anyone abroad
unless you're happy that they're legitimate. Don't
be tempted by low wholesale prices for in demand
products!
The cross country strategy requires that you find
a proven seller first of all.
Oliver has done that with this US Mens Clothing
and Accessories supplier who is selling product
in the tens of 1000s on eBay US and also has a
wholesale website from which you can buy stock
at around 50% of the retail price.
Oliver has contacted the supplier and he is quite
happy to supply to the UK for resale on eBay
UK.
As this product is not already being sold on eBay UK,
there are none of the live examples as in the previous
DVDs, so this is an opportunity to be among the first
to introduce this product to the UK.
I can't imagine why this product range would not do
well in the UK and Oliver mentions the idea that this
is another of those types of product that could be
sold in a website of your own in addition to eBay.
Next time, I'll be looking at the final DVD, number 7.

Until next time...
'Bye for now.
